Artic truck leaves for Ukraine

11th October 2022. Worth the weight part of Top Textiles group load a 40 foot truck with 500 bales of used clothing around 100,000 items winter coats, Jumpers, hoodies, thermal socks, boots, blankets, jeans, waterproof clothing. This is donated to the people of Ukraine. Top Textiles used RGF Logistics to transport the goods which will go via Poland. As a company we do all we can to help the war in Ukraine and hope that soon this conflict will come to an end and the killing will stop. This load is part of six containers we will be sending this year said production manager Madlyn Dinka .

Artic truck leaving for Bulgaria 

October 7th 2022. Here we have a 40 foot truck leaving for Bulgaria packed with 500 bales of summer textiles. On the truck is 100 bales of children clothes, 100 bales men shirts, 50 men T shirts, 50 bales ladies tops, 50 bales ladies dresses, 50 bales sport wear, 50 bales vintage, 50 bales jumpers.  This consignment is sold to our Bulgaria dealer who resells direct to the public via there chain of shops throughout Bulgaria.  All clothes are sold by weight using our brand Worth the weight and sales are already taking off for the chain store.

40 foot container to South Sudan

 2nd October 2022 South Sudan orders third container of used clothing. The container was shipped via Mombasa and by road to Juba. On this container was all summer wear including 100 bales of children, 100 bales men mixed summer wear, 50 men sports wear, 50  bales shirts, 50 bales ladies joggers,  50 bales hoodies, 100 sacks of shoes. This is one off our wholesalers in South Sudan who sales bales to the wholesale market.

Worth The weight Retail stores

Plans are in place for Worth the weight to open a new site in Kits Green Birmingham which is currently Welcome Charity. CEO Graham Tucker stated this is a good site and we hope to have it up and running early in the new year, This is part of a expansion scheme to increase our retails shops, Worth the weight based in Dennis Road Birmingham is opening new stores in Bristol, Braintree Essex, and Stourbridge giving us four stores in the UK

Worth the weight new factory in Bristol

Opening in January 2023 Worth the weight 10,000 square factory in Avonmouth Bristol. This will house over 5 million garments of used and vintage clothing for our online customers. There will also be a factory shop for the public to buy direct,
